Social Media Management for Newquay restaurant: saltsheds
The Positioning: Saltsheds is Newquay's premium beach bar where mediterranean sophistication meets Cornish soul.
The Brief: grow reach, engagement and follows across facebook and instagram through Q4, the venue's shoulder-into-off-season, using only client-supplied footage. no shoot days, no content bank, just strategy and execution.
What I did:
built a five-pillar social strategy anchored around events, food, throwbacks and the coastal-experience angle
ran regular reels, throwbacks and event content to hold engagement in a quiet quarter
rewrote captions for social search (location + experience keywords)
worked entirely from client-sent footage, no content days included in the package
The Takeaway: a full quarter of measurable growth on a package with zero shoot days. proof that with the right strategy, even client-filmed content can move the numbers.

this was a small increase of 9% MTM, but a good result for the quieter season in Cornwall

honestly? this one was a response to Jam + Meme making a story about the Ski Lodge saying why is there a ski lodge in Newquay? so we made it work for usβ¦
things to do whilst its cold and wet in Cornwall is definitely a pain point for locals, so showing somewhere that brings that idyllic winter atmosphere was a key selling point for the Q4 season
