what UGC management actually is

UGC (user-generated content) is content made by creators who post about your brand as if a regular customer. It looks organic and it lands harder than an ad, or as an ad. In 2026, it's one of the highest-return content investments a Cornwall small business can make.

Managing UGC yourself is a whole job. Finding the right creators, negotiating fair terms, briefing them properly, chasing content, coordinating deliveries. That's what this service handles, so you can keep running your business. As part of my largest package, I also ensure UGC works in-line with your strategy.

UGC can add up in cost, but it's one of the most effective ways to market on social and build proper brand trust. I keep my fee low at £100pcm, because I know the creator costs sit on top, and what you're really paying me for is taking the management and email back-and-forth headache off your plate. However, if you want to manage it yourself and just want help sourcing the right creators, I can offer a one-off discounted fee.

what UGC management includes

finding the right creators

Sourcing UK-based creators (Cornwall-first where possible) who genuinely fit your brand voice, aesthetic and audience. I can also make sure UGC campaigns tie into your broader social media strategy rather than sitting off to the side

briefing & Reviewing

Writing clear, actionable creator briefs that get you content you can actually use. Ensuring creators hit the brief and on-time.

Acting as liaison

I handle all day-to-day communication to ensure the creator receives everything, hits the brief, fits the brand tone.

Gemma is an experienced content creator that creates light and airy, aesthetic content. Based in Bristol she’s fab for more product-based companies.

who UGC management is for

It’s a good fit if:

  • you know UGC would help but you have no idea where to start

  • you've tried working with creators directly and it turned into a full-time admin job

  • you want UGC to feel like part of your brand, not a random one-off

  • you're a hospitality, tourism, food or product business in Cornwall where visual social proof matters

  • you're already on my retainer and want UGC built into your strategy

Not really the right fit if:

  • you want me to be the creator (that's a content day)

  • you want a single one-off UGC campaign with no strategy behind it (fine, but not what this service is built for)

  • you have a specific creator in mind and just want to sign a contract (do it directly, you don't need me)

how uGC management with me works

enquire

Fill out the form below or email me at hello@croftleah.com with a bit about you and what you’re looking for

2

strategy call

A free 30-minute chat to work out what kind of UGC will actually help your business

3

Onboarding

I take time to learn your brand, aesthetic and current campaigns and begin to source a list of creators, ready to be signed off by you

4

Gather costs & briefs

I’ll gather the details needed for each creator, their costs, usage rights fees etc. any details or dates needed for products/visits and brief them in accordingly.

5

Reviewing content

I’ll manage follow-ups and deliverables, ensuring the content fits the strategy and goals laid out previously, before finally sending it across to you for final approval. I’ll also send over invoices from the creators for you to pay (and give you a nudge if you need it!)

6

monthly report

I’ll gather some numbers from the creators to see how the content landed - if I have access to your insights I can cross-compare to see the results. If not, I can run through things on a call so we can both see how it all landed.

(and being upfront about it)

creator fees

Creators set their own rates. Typical UK UGC rates are £50-£300 per piece of content, or gifting-for-content deals, all depending on their experience.

I’ll get the details, but you send the product/service directly to the creator.

usage rights and licensing fees

Creators will have usage rights fees. This is negotiated case by case with each creator, paid separately.

paid amplification / boosting UGC as ads

That's a separate ad management scope and will involve different usage fees from the creator.
